Whilst any material that is essential to the delivery of lessons is provided on the CD-ROM, at times other supplementary material is suggested. Wherever possible references are given to how to obtain extra support material.

Navigating around the CD-ROM

We hope that you will be able to find your way around the CD-ROM without too much trouble. Clicking on 'back' will always take you back to a higher level.

Downloading Resources

While some of the resource material is available to read on the CD-ROM there is also material that is downloadable. If this is editable by the teacher then it is provided in ®Word format. Much of the classroom materials is provided as PDF files, these need Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded free from Adobe. For the AV [Sound and Video] files you need to install the Quicktime plug-in, this can be downloaded for Windows or Apple.

If you are a ®Windows user then in order to download you need to right click on the link and then "Save Link to ..." if you are an ®Apple user hold the control key and click on the link and then on "Saved linked file As ..." and save to your hard disc. Files may then be printed as normal, or displayed on the computer / whiteboard / screen.

We recommend that you download the entire CD-ROM to your hard disc or to the school network. To do this copy the entire CD-ROM onto either a folder on your hard disc or the network and entitle this SRSP.

Updates

When you purchase the materials you are entitled to receive updates. Check the website on a regular basis. Updates will also come as a unit folder and you will be required to delete the existing folder and replace it with the update.
