Welcome
to the Science and Religion in Schools Worldwide Project
This
is currently a project in potentia and we are hoping
that the exciting and leading edge work that we have
been doing in the UK will inspire others from around
the world to the importance and relevance of this area.
We
believe that this interface between 'how science sees
the world' and 'how religion sees the world' is a vital
part of a child's education in the C21st and we hope
that you in your country can be inspired by our materials
to develop your own project tackling the needs in your
country.
If
you would like to discuss more about the way in which
the UK project was structured or developed then please
contact us. |

| The
Bicentenary of Charles Darwin's birth, 12th February
1809, and the 150th anniversary of the publication
of 'On the Origin of Species', 24th November 1859,
will ensure that 2009 is a year when the Science
and Religion debate will have a high profile.
Teachers of both Religious Education and Science
should take this opportunity to encourage open
minded and informed debate on the important issues
involved. |
